The new Netflix movie ”A Part of You” is about a girl named Agnes, who dreams of having everything her older sister Julia has – to be popular in school, be in a relationship with a guy, and dare to stand in the spotlight. But when the unthinkable happens, Agnes’s life is turned upside down. Suddenly, everything she dreamed of is within reach – but at what cost?

”This story is very personal to me, as I lost my 19-year-old brother in an accident seven years ago. I felt that I wanted to portray both sides of grief – the immense pain and shock, but also the hope and love that can emerge in the process. I am honored that this amazing team will bring the script to life, and to share this film with a global audience on Netflix is more than I dared to dream of,” says screenwriter Michaela Hamilton in the press release.

The main characters are played by Felicia Maxime, Edvin Ryding (Young Royals) and Zara Larsson.
